“Family is about connecting to something bigger than yourself.”
That’s a line from the final trailer for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.” And it certainly seems like the perfect motto for this crew.
The main characters in The Fantastic Four include Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic played by Pedro Pascal, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman portrayed by Vanessa Kirby, Ben Grimm/The Thing acted by Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Johnny Storm/Human Torch played by Joseph Quinn.
A significant challenge arises for the team when the Silver Surfer, portrayed by Julia Garner, arrives on the scene declaring ominous words: “I herald his beginning, I herald your end. I herald Galactus.”
The plot thickens as the formidable space entity Galactus, embodied by Ralph Ineson, aims to unleash chaos. The responsibility falls on the shoulders of our superhero family to prevent the impending catastrophe. The stakes are raised even higher when it is revealed that Galactus has a personal vendetta that intensifies the threat posed to the entire planet and its inhabitants.
In the final trailer, seen in the video player above, we do get a glimpse of the big bad himself, Galactus, we see more of the team using their powers for good. But what we don’t see, try as they might, is The Thing saying his famous line, “It’s clobberin’ time!”
Safe to say that’s coming when “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” swoops into theaters July 25.
