Mia Thornton Says ‘The Real Housewives Of Potomac’ Was The Reason For Her Split From Inc

Ink might be permanent, but Mia Thornton‘s now ex-boyfriend Incognito, a.k.a. Inc, is not.

On Sunday night’s (Jan. 26) episode of Watch What Happens Live, Mia revealed the real reason behind her split with the radio personality.

She started by highlighting how much effort Inc has put into building his reputation and career over his 20 years as a syndicated radio host. She acknowledged that he may feel that the current platform does not match his brand, a sentiment she respects.

“He’s my best friend and he will forever be my best friend,” she added. “Are we exclusive and are we dating? No. It has bridged a gap between us.”

But Married to Medicine cast member, Quad Webb, directed more inquiries towards Mia. Last year, Mia reignited her relationship with Inc while going through a separation with Gordon Thornton.

Webb raised a valid point, questioning why Inc would walk away from Mia considering he claimed to love her, fully aware of her career and occupation. He knew her circumstances, so the decision seemed perplexing.

But Mia skirted around the question, telling her fellow Bravolebrity that her focus remains on her children and working through her divorce.

“To his defense, I need to get a divorce first. So we’re gonna work on that. We’re gonna focus on G, we’re gonna focus on the kids. And then Inc — he’s not going anywhere. What’s meant to be is forever,” she said, noting, “Whether you see him or not, Inc is permanent.”

Inc, for his part, has made several appearances on Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Most recently, Gordon said he had a paternity test done on his and Mia’s son to prove that he was the father — not Inc, who had an affair with Mia around the time her son was conceived.

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
