The Valley star Michelle Saniei is clearing up those cheating rumors.
During the recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen asked Saniei to address some of the rumors circulating about her in The Valley, particularly Kristen Doute’s claim from Season 1 that she was unfaithful to her then-husband Jesse Lally by having an alleged boyfriend for more than a year.
“I did not have a boyfriend whatsoever,” Saniei said, though she confessed that she wasn’t completely innocent either.
Saniei confessed, “Towards the end of my marriage, I made a mistake. I was upfront about it with Jesse and I was honest, so he is aware of the truth.”
Furthermore, Saniei refuted Lally’s speculations about her infidelity with her current partner, Aaron Nosler, a financial advisor who also owns his own organic honey brand. She also denied any involvement in a relationship with a billionaire for financial gain, contrary to Lally’s allegations shared in a group chat among friends.
Just before the first season of The Valley aired in March 2024, the estranged couple announced their separation. According to Saniei, she told Lally she wanted a divorce days after filming wrapped in October 2023.
Speaking with DECIDER in May 2024, Saniei said she hoped the show would bring her and Lally closer together when they first signed on.
“I never actually expected us to divorce. I just thought we had hit a really low point in our marriage,” she said at the time. “When I went into filming, my intention was to work on the marriage. However, it was our first session with the life coach that helped open my eyes to what was the best decision for me and my daughter.”
After watching their unhealthy dynamic play out on Season 1, she had not regrets about her decision to end things.
“I’m watching the show as it airs, and it just confirms that I made the right decision,” she said. “I’m so much happier now. It was the right thing to do for everybody.”
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
