The recipient of the 2025 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award has been announced as former Vice President Mike Pence for his role in certifying Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election.
The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation made the announcement on Thursday, commending Pence for his actions in guaranteeing the constitutional transfer of presidential power on January 6, 2021.
Caroline Kennedy, President Kennedy’s daughter, and Jack Schlossberg, his sole grandson, released a joint statement expressing their thoughts on the selection of Pence as the recipient of the prestigious award.
“His decision is an example of President Kennedy’s belief that an act of political courage can change the course of history.”

Pence issued his own statement in which he expressed pride over being chosen for the Profile in Courage.
“I am deeply humbled and honored to be the recipient of the Kennedy Profile in Courage Award,” he said. “I have been inspired by the life and words of President John F. Kennedy since my youth and am honored to join the company of so many distinguished Americans who have received this recognition in the past.”
Several of those “distinguished” Americans in recent years reveal an absolute obsession by the JFK Library Foundation with those involved in fighting Trump regarding the 2020 election, the mild protests at the Capitol on January 6th, and those who tried to drag him down in the ensuing years.
It’s basically a case study of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
