This week brings new episodes of Selling The City, where a fresh group of real estate agents cater to the super-rich by selling extravagant apartments, and a new season of the thriller series The Rig on Prime Video. Remember to catch the 82nd Annual Golden Globes airing this Sunday night on Paramount+!
Netflix’s latest show, Selling The City, is all about high-end real estate dealings and is reminiscent of their previous hits like Selling The OC and Selling Sunset. This time, the focus is on Eleonora, a real estate agent on the East Coast, and her team as they navigate the world of luxury property sales in New York.
Nikki Glaser hosts this year’s Golden Globe Awards which will be airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ with Showtime on Sunday night. If her opening monologue is anything like her roast of Tom Brady, no one in Hollywood will escape unscathed. (But will she be as funny as Best Television Series – Comedy nominee The Bear?) Tune in when the 82nd Annual Golden Globes begin at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 5.
Prime Video’s The Rig, about the crew of a remote Scottish oil rig who are terrorized by a mysterious, supernatural fog that envelopes them at sea, returns for another season this week. Starring Martin Compston, Schitts’ Creek star Emily Hampshire and Game of Thrones‘ Iain Glen, the second season binge-dropped this week.
