Watch: Karoline Leavitt's Ferocious Response When Asked About Joe Biden and Alleged Social Security Cuts

I’m not.

Having observed Jen Psaki and Karine Jean-Pierre during Joe Biden’s presidency, I must say I find their approach refreshing. Unlike their predecessors who often misled and avoided direct answers, Psaki and Jean-Pierre bring forth a straightforward but courteous demeanor, armed with factual information and a determined attitude.

During a recent White House press briefing, Psaki deftly handled a reporter’s attempt to criticize Biden’s upcoming speech on Social Security. Rather than succumbing to the journalist’s tactics, she adeptly defended the president and the program, demonstrating her articulate communication skills and assertive stance.

Watch:

A reporter asked her to respond to Joe Biden’s upcoming speech, where the former president is expected to accuse Trump of slashing Social Security—citing office closures, long wait times, and difficulties for seniors and the disabled.

Her quip about Biden was one for the ages:

“My first reaction when seeing former President Biden was speaking tonight was—I’m shocked he is speaking at nighttime,” she said. “I thought his bedtime was much earlier than his speech tonight.”

Now, I know liberals would immediately declare that this wasn’t epic, it was just plain mean-spirited, and making fun of an old, deteriorating man is just inappropriate. However, my answer is that she was doing a lot more than just mocking Ole Joe—she was reminding the press and many in the room that they participated in one of the great cover-ups in political history as they aided and abetted the gaslighting over his condition.
