CNN is not known for being a hub of calm discourse and insightful political commentary. Yet, you might anticipate a certain level of decorum from their panelists. Unfortunately, this was not the case with one of their contributors this morning.

Or maybe not.

Lulu Garcia-Navarro, a reporter for the New York Times, took a dive into the realm of absurdity when discussing the highly publicized clash between President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

While many viewed the disagreement as a clash of egos that got out of hand and should have been handled privately, Garcia-Navarro painted a much darker picture. In her perspective, Musk will bear the brunt of the fallout.

The ultimate price, even.
