Before we begin, let me set the scene.
It’s 2002, and a 30-year-old me is featured in FHM Magazine (remember that?) and the topic of the interview is – drumroll, please – my feet.Â
In the past, I used to post pictures in underwear, but the focus shifted to discussions about my dedicated page on a relatively unknown platform called ‘Wikifeet.’ The page was filled with close-up snapshots of my feet and toes from various television appearances, accompanied by an impressive 4.5-star rating.
Back in the early 2000s, I couldn’t help but find it a bit strange that some men seemed more interested in admiring my feet rather than everything else I had to offer.
But fast-forward two decades and I still have men begging for photos of my feet – and I’m 52 years old! The fetish hasn’t just grown – it’s exploded.
Now, as a content single woman who has been through a divorce, my direct messages are constantly filled with inquiries from younger men, some as young as 25, and a large number of them are specifically curious about my feet.
How I wish for compliments on my smile or a gentlemanly invite on a date. Nope, all I get is… ‘how much for feet pics?’
What was once a relatively rare fetish has become mainstream over the last 20 years. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t bother me – in fact, I find it quite entertaining – but I feel this trend should be studied. It really is baffling.Â
Single 52-year-old Rozz Switzer has been inundated with DMs on Instagram from young men with foot fetishes
Two decades after her heyday as a lads’ mag pin-up, Rozz still has men begging for photos of her feet. The fetish hasn’t just grown since the early 2000s, she says –Â it’s explodedÂ
Most of the time, these foot requests come through Instagram, which, let’s be honest, is basically a dating app these days.
Whenever I post an Instagram Story poolside and my feet happen to be in the shot, my message requests explode. I’m talking hundreds of requests in a single day.
Some guys start politely enough – they’ll test the waters with ‘your feet are so beautiful’. Others skip the charm altogether and get straight to the point with, ‘How much for feet pics?’
The funny thing is, a lot of these messages come from private accounts – it’s like they don’t want me to know who they are. But from the ones I can see, it’s clearly a diverse bunch of guys.
The message requests come from all sorts – tradies, CEOs, city slickers, country boys, you name it. I’ve had DMs from 25-year-olds right through to 75-year-olds, some married, some single, some swinging couples and even people I know!
But for me, there’s a firm line – anyone too close in age to my children is an immediate block and delete. My eldest is nearly 20, so I’m not interested in entertaining any messages from those who could pass for one of his mates.
Now, most of these guys aren’t shy in coming forward and usually say it how it is. I think they figure, ‘Why not give it a crack? After all, what’s the worst that could happen?’
Their messages aren’t usually subtle. ‘You are hot, show more of your sexy feet please?’ is a common one. ‘I want to massage your feet’ is another popular go-to.Â
Rozz says many of the men requesting pictures of her feet are in their twenties
I’ll admit, some of the requests give me a giggle – others I delete immediately.
And let’s not pretend this is a ‘creepy guy’ thing. It’s not. You’d be amazed who slides into my DMs – either because they are ‘into feet’ or just attracted to older women in general. The young men amaze me the most, but there’s married guys, gym junkies – men from all walks of life.
Foot fetishes are universal and certainly not age-restricted. I’ve learned there’s a whole world out there I didn’t know about until these messages started rolling in.
So, what’s the going rate for photos of feet? Well, my honest answer would be, ‘How long is a piece of string… and then add some!’
I’m going to throw it out there that I’m not above accepting an offer if the price is right – and let me be clear, I’m only talking about above-board, below-the-knee kind of shots! I’ve been offered plenty in my time and even accepted a few when the thousands of dollars were thrown my way, and I say, why not?Â
If someone wants to fork out that kind of cash for a quick snapshot of my toes, I’m not complaining. What’s a couple of harmless photos of your feet to make someone else happy? Honestly, I’m flattered they even thought my feet were worthy.
Rozz appeared in FHM Magazine in 2002 and men were keen to see her feet then, tooÂ
And I’m not alone in this. Margot Robbie was reportedly offered $500,000 for a single picture of her feet. British singer Lily Allen admitted she’s made more money from her foot content than her music. Clearly, there’s a whole world out there of cashed-up foot fetishists that I wasn’t aware of until my DMs started proving otherwise.
Another observation I’ve made is there’s definitely a correlation between ‘feet guys’ and ‘MILF guys’. The men who chase after me, regardless of their age, have the same kinks –Â red toe polish, anklets, toe rings, stilettos…
Is it weird? Maybe. But harmless.
Now the question you’re probably itching to ask is this: what’s a 52-year-old woman doing boasting about young men asking for feet pics?
I’ll admit, I was in two minds about sharing my story. But the bottom line is, I’m a single 52-year-old working mum who still gets attention from young men – how many women out there can say that?
At the age most women start to feel invisible, I’m receiving more attention than ever. Even if it’s just for my feet, I’m not complaining.
