The charges against him include alleged forgery, carrying firearms without a license, tampering with records or identification, possessing crime instruments, and providing false identification to law enforcement authorities. Additionally, Mangione is facing state charges in Manhattan, New York for alleged first-degree murder in furtherance of terrorism, two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, four counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, and one count of possessing a forged instrument in the second degree. Furthermore, federal charges have been brought against Mangione for allegedly using a firearm to commit murder, interstate stalking resulting in death, stalking through the use of interstate facilities resulting in death, and discharging a firearm equipped with a silencer in furtherance of a violent crime.
