Interspersed among the rows of tech bros, celebrities and Trump relatives at the inauguration were women with a familiar face.
Plump lips, round cheeks, lifted eyes, sharp jawlines, and crease-less foreheads dominated the event, plastic surgeons told DailyMail.com.
New York City-based Dr Kopelman said many of the guests appeared to have undergone various cosmetic ‘touch-ups’ to look good for the big day.
A plastic surgeon praised country singer Carrie Underwood for the fullness in her cheeks and her plumper lips, speculating that these features could be the result of recent fillers.
Lauren Sanchez turned heads (most noticeably Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg’s) for her outfit: a white lace bustier visible under a white blazer.
Another plastic surgeon, Dr. David Shokrian from NYC, pointed out that what caught his attention was Carrie Underwood’s pursed lips. He suggested that this could have been achieved through Botox injections around her mouth, or possibly a less common procedure involving a permanent lip filler instead of the more typical dissolvable injectables used by most surgeons.
Dr. Kopelman noted that while President Trump has had a significant influence on American culture and politics, the aesthetic attributed to Ivanka, Melania, and other Trump women, characterized by features like slender noses, high cheekbones, smooth skin, and defined jawlines, has had an impact on plastic surgery trends.
With Trump winning the presidency again, Dr Kopelman ‘expects this style of surgery and non-invasive procedures to grow in popularity, particularly as social media continues to drive beauty standards.’
Ahead of the inauguration, MAGA fans like Amanda Till, a 42-year-old tech conservative entrepreneur based in Palm Beach, Florida, revealed how many of Trump’s supporters wanted to look their best at the inauguration and beyond.
Carrie Underwood also appears to have undergone Botox injections and filler, according to Dr Giselle Prado-Wright, a cosmetic surgeon based in Florida
Wife of Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sanchez, 55, is believed to have undergone a facelift as well as botox around her mouth and in her cheeks
She herself revealed to the New York Post that she’d spent between $50,000 to $60,000 on Botox, fillers, a thread lift, a hydrafacial, and various lasers.
In her case, she said she wanted to look her best during trips to Mar-A-Lago, where ‘inspiring’ people such as Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos have been known to frequent.
The expert speculated that two lesser known guests at the inauguration, the philanthropist and financier couple Laura and Isaac Perlmutter, may have also received some cosmetic work.

Elon Musk, who sat alongside the Trump family during the ceremony, is also heavily rumored to have received a hair transplant to combat premature balding.
Meanwhile, Lara Trump, Trump’s daughter-in-law, also received some harsh criticism on social media and Dr Kopelman described her as ‘slightly overfilled.’
He added: ‘Her smoother complexion and more pronounced cheekbones suggest the use of Botox and fillers.
‘Her youthful, polished look could also be supported by treatments like chemical peels or laser resurfacing, which help with skin texture and tone.’
Meanwhile, according to Dr Giselle Prado-Wright, a cosmetic surgeon based in Florida, Carrie Underwood showed hallmarks of cosmetic adjustments during her rendition of ‘America Is Beautiful.’
Dr Prado-Wright said: ‘Her use of lip filler is apparent, particularly when observing the movement of her lips while she sings, as this is when filler placement can become more discernible.’
The star — who joined American Idol as a judge last year — has been open about undergoing surgery after she suffered a nasty fall in 2017 that left her needing more than 40 stiches in her face.
However, she has never admitted to cosmetic work and exactly what the surgery entailed.
Meanwhile, Lauren Sanchez is believed to have undergone a facelift, according to Dr Kopelman, who said the giveaway was her ears.
‘It’s called the pixie deformity. It’s actually something you want to avoid in their face lifting because it doesn’t look natural, it looks weird,’ Dr Kopelman said.

The pixie ear deformity can be recognized by its ‘stuck on’ or ‘pulled’ appearance, which is caused by the tension involving the facelift cheek and jawline, he said.
But what stood out most to Dr Shokrian is her lips. Rather than being filled with hyaluronic acid, Dr Shokrian believes Ms Sanches has undergone a silicone injection, something doctors are no longer legally permitted to do.
He said: ‘If you really look closely at her lips, you could see that they’re lumpy, bumpy, and that is a telltale sign of silicone, or, you know, any kind of other permanent substance, like biopolymer, silicon, hydrogel, something like that in the lips.
‘Immediately, when I saw her, I could tell that, you know, she had silicone placed in her lips. The silicone has migrated, and that’s what’s kind of caused that sort of irregularity.’
Her mouth is also elongated, which could be due to a facelift.
However, Dr Shokrian believed hers was a case of ‘Joker face’ – the phenomenon in which too much Botox is injected around the corners of the mouth or in the lower face, resulting in upturned lips in the corners creating a perpetual smile.
Ivanka’s striking looks have sparked a plastic surgery trend (left) while doctors said Lara had ‘slightly overfilled’
In terms of the Trump family, the cosmetic experts said Ivanka Trump was a shining example of how cosmetic work can be subtle and effective.
Dr Kopelman said: ‘Her defined jawline suggests enhancements through fillers, chin augmentation, or non-invasive skin-tightening treatments like radiofrequency or ultrasound-based therapies.
Dr Shokrian said that Ivanka is likely to opt for fat transfers to her face every eight months or so and likely has a fabulous injector or plastic surgeon who takes care of her.
‘She’s not puffy,’ he added. ‘I don’t think she’s going in every six months and having her cheeks filled.’
DailyMail.com reached out to all of the inaugural guests mentioned in this article for comment but has not heard back.
