A Kentucky woman was arrested last week after local authorities found a missing juvenile in her attic.
Scottsville resident Donna M. Spengler, 42, was apprehended by the Scottsville Police Department (SPD) during the early hours of Mar. 21. She faces charges of kidnapping, first-degree hindering prosecution, custodial interference, endangering the welfare of a minor, and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
In a statement posted on social media, the SPD disclosed that a call was received around 12:30 a.m. on the same day regarding a missing juvenile who was potentially at Spengler’s residence.
Upon the arrival of law enforcement officers from the SPD and the Allen County Sheriff’s Department at the location, Spengler insisted that she was the only person present in the house, according to officials.
