A Fort Worth man is now in police custody after he beat his mother to death during an attempted “exorcism,” according to Fort Worth Police.
An affidavit for an arrest warrant states that Fort Worth Police were alerted by an anonymous caller’s 911 report indicating they had received a Snapchat photo of a woman lying on the ground covered in what seemed to be blood. The report was highlighted by Fox 4 in an affidavit.
Upon arriving at the location provided by the caller, authorities encountered 23-year-old Alexander Taylor Valdez who greeted them at the door while holding a Bible.

Police allege that she was bludgeoned by Valdez with a “blunt force object.”Â
During a search of the premises, law enforcement discovered a potential murder weapon – a damaged jewelry box containing blood and human hair, all within the same room where Sayson’s body was located, as detailed in official documents.
Valdez is being held on a $750,000 bond and faces a murder charge.
