Another man is facing criminal charges for allegedly vandalizing a Tesla, this time in North Dakota.Â
Ryan Lyle Williams got arrested and faced charges for causing serious damage to a Cybertruck in a Costco parking lot in West Fargo, North Dakota, as reported by the West Fargo Police Department.
The owner of the truck, Mitch Benson, was inside the store when a person in a blue hooded jacket, identified as Williams, scratched his Cybertruck, leaving a visible mark on the front driver’s side door shaped like the letter “F.”
Five Tesla vehicles in Las Vegas were vandalized in a suspected targeted attack at a local repair center on March 18, 2025. The incident involved vehicles being set on fire and shot at, and authorities are conducting an investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile, Tesla owners themselves have been subject to instances of vandalism and violence around the country, as Benson was in North Dakota.Â
A man was arrested in New Hampshire last week after he was allegedly caught on Sentry mode video slashing a Tesla. A San Jose man was arrested on March 19 for allegedly vandalizing a Tesla, also in a Costco parking lot. That incident was caught on Sentry mode video.Â
An Idaho man was charged with aggravated battery for allegedly striking a pro-Tesla demonstrator with his car.Â
