Multiple people were injured, with some sustaining life-threatening wounds, in an incident where a woman reportedly attacked travelers with a knife at Hamburg Central Station in Germany. The attack occurred on Friday.
The suspect, a 39-year-old woman whose identity has not been disclosed, was apprehended by the Hamburg Police shortly after the assault without any resistance.

Hamburg’s central station is a bustling hub with over 550,000 passengers moving through it daily, making it the busiest railway station for passengers in Germany. These numbers were reported on the station’s official website.
The station, which opened in 1906, is just a short walk from the city center and features 75 shops and restaurants.
In February, one person was seriously injured in a stabbing at Berlin’s Holocaust memorial near the U.S. embassy.
On Wednesday, Elias Rodriguez, of Chicago, was charged with killing two Israeli Embassy staffers during a shooting at an event hosted by the American Jewish Committee in Washington, D.C.
