An Oregon high school teacher is in custody following an undercover operation that resulted in his arrest for online sex offenses involving minors.
The Portland Police Bureau reported that Oscar Armando Ramirez, 36, engaged in sexually explicit dialogues with an individual he thought was a 13-year-old girl when he was employed as a teacher at a local high school.
Unbeknownst to Ramirez, he was conversing with an undercover law enforcement officer who was pretending to be an underage individual as part of a sting operation aimed at apprehending online predators.
