'Sleazebags': President Trump Hilariously Torches Fake News for Their Reports About Iran Bombings

On his Truth Social account on Monday, the president responded to reports from CNN and other media outlets that seemed to minimize the effectiveness of the US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites by using terms like “partially destroyed” to characterize the operation.

It came after Trump’s post announcing that the facilities had been obliterated.

Trump’s post on the matter stated, “The sites we targeted in Iran were completely demolished, and this is widely known. Only the Fake News would present a different narrative to undermine the success of the operation — and even they acknowledge that the sites were ‘pretty well destroyed!'”

The president also called out specific individuals for perpetuating what he labeled as misinformation, such as Allison [Anderson] Cooper from CNN, Brian L. Roberts from Comcast, Jonathan Karl from ABC, and the NBC team from Comcast. He criticized their continuous efforts to spread falsehoods and highlighted the decline in their credibility by emphasizing their record-low ratings.

Several people have since reacted on social media to Trump’s post and his labeling of CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, Allison, and more.

“Trump goes off on the fake news for saying the nuclear facilities weren’t completely destroyed, when they were,” one person wrote, quoting what he wrote. “‘It never ends with the sleaze bags in the media,’ ‘Allison Cooper,'” with a laughing crying emoji.

The Blaze added, “Trump calls Anderson Cooper ‘Allison Cooper,'” along with three laughing crying emojis.

On Sunday night, President Trump made a social media post celebrating the success of the attack on Iran’s nuclear ambitions and shared that the U.S. had taken out the Islamic State’s key enrichment facilities.

It appeared to follow a New York Times report citing officials who believed the Fordow nuclear site, one of the targets in the American operation, was only “severely damaged, not destroyed,” RedState reported.

“Monumental Damage was done to all Nuclear sites in Iran, as shown by satellite images. Obliteration is an accurate term!” the president declared.

Trump went on to note that damage levels aren’t fully appreciated solely using satellite imagery.

“The white structure shown is deeply (embedded) into the rock, with even its roof well below ground level, and completely shielded from flame,” he explained. “The biggest damage took place far below ground level.”

“Bullseye!!!”
