IN LOS ANGELES — A new sitcom named “Mid-Century Modern” is brought to the screens by the creators of “Will & Grace”, featuring actors Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer, and Nathan Lee Graham.
“Mid-Century Modern” tells the story of three close gay friends who, following a sudden loss, opt to spend their retired years together in Palm Springs. In this narrative, the wealthiest friend, portrayed by Lane, shares a home with his mother, played by Linda Lavin. The trio, as a chosen family, demonstrates that despite challenges, there will always be a companion to suggest that a little touch-up might be beneficial.”
As the trio adapt to life together in Palm Springs, they face the ups and downs of life, love and friendship.
The series is from executive producers Max Mutchnick & David Kohan and executive producer Ryan Murphy.
Special appearances will be made by Pamela Adlon, Vanessa Bayer, Kimberly Coles, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Judd Hirsch, Richard Kind, Stephanie Koenig, Billie Lourd, Esther Moon Wu, Jaime Moyer, Cheri Oteri, Rhea Perlman, Zane Phillips, and a variety of other talented actors.
Stars Nathan Lane and Matt Bomer also executive produce the series, along with James Burrows, who also serves as director.
“Mid-Century Modern” premieres March 28 on Hulu.
