'The Handmaid's Tale' cast tease what fans can expect for sixth and final seasonĀ

Elisabeth Moss, Yvonne Strahovski and more stars spill on “The Handmaid’s Tale” final season, premiering April 8 on Hulu.Ā

Praise the news! “The Handmaid’s Tale” is making a comeback for its sixth and final season on Hulu. Before bidding farewell, Elisabeth Moss, Yvonne Strahovski, Amanda Brugel, and Madeline Brewer shared hints about what viewers can anticipate in the dystopian series.

During an interview with On The Red Carpet, Moss, known for her role as rebellious handmaid June Osborne and also as the show’s executive producer and director, talked about June’s determination to dismantle Gilead, stating, “Get ready for some significant twists and turns. The season is full of action and suspense. Each episode feels like a thrilling adventure. I wish I could witness the audience’s reactions firsthand.”

Strahovski (also known as Serena Joy Waterford) echoed Moss’s description of the season as a “wild ride,” expressing, “It has truly been a rollercoaster for us. We’ve experienced so much… all captured on camera! Working with Lizzie has been an absolute delight. We love exploring, improvising, and bringing these characters to life. Our emotional investment in these roles is immense.”

Brugel and Brewer, who portray Rita Blue and Janine Lindo respectively, revealed how much they know about the final chapter of the Emmy Award-winning program, “Spoiler alert! We don’t know what’s going to happen at the end of the last season. None of us. No, it’s all redacted, all the scripts.” Brugel pointed out how the show has “been a part of her life for almost a decade,” and she has no idea how it concludes.

The first three episodes of “The Handmaid’s Tale” final season premiere April 8 on Hulu, with a new episode dropping weekly after that.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Hulu and this ABC station.
