And Just Like That… is the sequel series to HBO’s huge hit, Sex and the City. This spinoff follows Carrie Bradshaw, a sex columnist, memoir writer, and fashion icon, as she experiences the challenges and triumphs of her fifties in the city. The series began with the unexpected passing of her husband, Big (Chris Noth). After dealing with her grief, Carrie reconnects with her former flame, Aidan Shaw (John Corbett), in Season 2. Although they are both ready to commit, Aidan finds himself hesitant due to his son’s mental health struggles. Season 2 of And Just Like That… concluded with Carrie moving into a grand new home in Gramercy Square, realizing that she and Aidan cannot be together full-time for at least another five years. Additionally, Carrie adopted a cat named “Shoe.”
Meanwhile, in the world of And Just Like That…, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) found balance in her new life as an openly lesbian woman and moved forward from her brief relationship with the non-binary comic, Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez). Charlotte (Kristin Davis) returned to work in the upscale gallery scene and developed a close friendship with the stylish working mother, Lisa Todd Wexley (Nicole Ari Parker). Carrie’s new confidante, the charismatic real estate mogul Seema Patel (Sarita Choudhury), found love with a charming film director. Not to forget, Kim Cattrall reprised her role as Samantha Jones in a short cameo during the Season 2 finale of And Just Like That….
