Reacher’s back and ready to face his next opponent.
A glimpse into Season 3 of Reacher reveals that it will premiere on February 20 and introduces a fresh foe for Jack Reacher, portrayed by Alan Ritchson: Paulie, a massive bodybuilder played by Olivier Richters.
This character, taken from Lee Child’s 2003 novel Persuader—the seventh installment in the Jack Reacher series—acts as the enforcer for Zachary Beck (Anthony Michael Hall), a businessman whose questionable activities have attracted Reacher’s notice.
While Reacher is famous for his imposing physique—Ritchson is over six feet tall and has embodied physically demanding roles like Aquaman and Hawk—Paulie surpasses him in size. Standing at an impressive 7-foot-2 and weighing 350 pounds, Richters creates a genuinely formidable adversary.
In the teaser, Reacher throws a punch at Paulie’s midsection, but it barely fazes him. Paulie counters with a single blow that knocks Reacher to the ground. On a phone call with Frances Neagley (Maria Sten), Reacher quips, “He’s twice my size,” to which Neagley cheekily responds, “The last time I saw a guy twice your size was on Mount Rushmore.”
The new season will kick off with three episodes, followed by weekly releases leading up to the finale on March 27. According to the official synopsis, Reacher dives deep into a dangerous criminal network while racing against the clock to save an undercover DEA informant. Along the way, he confronts a brutal world of secrecy and violence—and faces ghosts from his past.
Joining Ritchson, Sten, Richters, and Hall in the cast are Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, and Daniel David Stewart.
The show is a collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and CBS Studios. Executive producers include showrunner Nick Santora, Child, and Ritchson, along with Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, and Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell. Carolyn Harris and Kenny Madrid oversee the series for Skydance.
