The Department of Homeland Security is revealing details about a group of illegal immigrant suspects who have been apprehended in Los Angeles for alleged criminal activities since June 6.
Following incidents of unrest in Downtown LA triggered by ICE operations over the weekend, the agency decided to disclose information about the apprehended individuals. The arrests conducted by ICE led to the detention of a significant number of illegal aliens, many of whom had prior criminal backgrounds and convictions.
Moreover, DHS has provided specific information about 19 suspects detained by ICE Los Angeles on June 7. These individuals are facing accusations of various crimes, spanning from robbery and second-degree murder to rape.
“America’s brave ICE officers are removing the worst of the worst from LA’s streets, while LA’s leaders are working tirelessly against them,” DHS said in a Sunday statement as riots continued through the weekend.
