A bomb threat led to the evacuation of a Spirit Airlines plane at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The incident occurred early on a Thursday morning, causing delays for passengers traveling to Los Angeles.
According to FOX 2 Detroit, the threat was reported around 7 a.m. as passengers boarded Flight 2145 bound for Los Angeles.

The airline’s statement confirmed that law enforcement was called to attend Spirit Airlines flight 2145 (DTW-LAX) before its departure from Detroit due to a possible security concern. Passengers were evacuated from the aircraft to a secure location, then taken back to the terminal for screening. Law enforcement inspected the plane, ensuring it was safe for travel. Once cleared, passengers were allowed to reboard, and the flight continued to Los Angeles.
