Where Can I Watch ‘My Mom Jayne’? Mariska Hargitay’s New Jayne Mansfield Documentary Streaming Release Date

We know Mariska Hargitay for playing crime procedural icon Olivia Benson in Law & Order: SVU for over 20 years. But now, the actress is opening up to fans with her directorial debut My Mom Jayne, which explores her mother Jayne Mansfield‘s complicated legacy as a Hollywood superstar.

Mansfield died at the age of 34 in a tragic car accident when Hargitay was just three years old, leaving the actress with long-held questions that she finally explores in this touching new documentary. My Mom Jayne follows Hargitay as she seeks answers for the first time, all while learning more about herself along the way. Deeply personal interviews with those who knew Jayne the best – including Hargitay’s own siblings, her stepmother Ellen Hargitay, and Mansfield’s press secretary Raymond “Rusty” Strait – reveal how her late mother’s private life contrasted against the Hollywood persona she became known for, further cementing the tragedy of losing a mother and icon at such a young age.

The documentary also features several bombshell revelations about the family, including that Mickey Hargitay is not Mariska’s biological father.
