Florida authorities are searching for a man seen on camera robbing an elderly woman in an attack outside an Orlando convenience store on Wednesday.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the violent robbery occurred outside a store on Curry Ford Road, close to the intersection of S. Goldenrod Road, early on Wednesday.
Surveillance footage released by the sheriff’s office shows an 83-year-old individual (who remains anonymous) leaving the store and trying to reach her car while holding her lottery winnings.
FOX 35 Orlando reported that the woman won $200.
Another individual attempts to retrieve the money for the elderly woman, but Fleury pushes him away and flees on foot. As of Wednesday night, authorities have not apprehended him.
A store employee told FOX 35 that Fleury often hangs out near the front of the building and has caused problems in the past.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has issued an arrest warrant for Fleury on charges of robbery, sudden snatching and battery on a person 65 or older.
