President Trump has recently commended the National Guard for their efforts in managing the violence erupting from the anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles, California. At the same time, he criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, referring to them as incompetent.
The president highlighted that individuals supporting criminal activities by illegal aliens, often associated with the Democratic party, have been attacking federal agents. These agents are simply upholding immigration laws that were strongly favored by the American population during the 2024 elections.
Worse, they have been egged on by officials in California and the Los Angeles area who should know better.
The aftermath of these confrontations has been far from surprising. Extensive destruction has been reported, ranging from vandalized buildings and slashed tires to instances of protesters setting fires, painting anti-ICE slogans, and even vandalizing a Fox LA news vehicle by breaking its windows and stealing its contents.
