During a captivating conversation with Fox Nation presenter Abby Hornacek, Frank Siller, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s Chairman and CEO, expressed his firm dedication to eliminating veteran homelessness in the United States. Siller fervently stated, “It is unacceptable in America to have a homeless veteran on the street… we need to change that.”
Realizing the extensive nature of the issue, with an estimated 35,000 to 50,000 homeless veterans, Tunnel to Towers has assisted over 10,000 veterans in finding homes in the last couple of years. The organization operates a nationwide case management initiative, working alongside more than a thousand local non-profits, HUD, and the VA to offer housing, financial aid, and crucial overall assistance, including mental health support.
Siller stressed the significant debt owed to veterans who have risked everything for national security, particularly in the aftermath of 9/11. In addition to individual housing solutions, the foundation is establishing “veteran villages” nationwide, repurposing donated land and hotels into well-designed, respectable apartments with onsite support services to aid in the veterans’ reintegration into society.
With 19 such projects underway and a goal of over 300, Siller echoed President Donald Trump’s commitment to ending veteran homelessness. He urged viewers to support this vital mission by donating $11 a month at T2T.org, stressing that their contributions make a “tremendous difference.”
