A video circulating online shows a pigeon flying around inside a Delta plane cabin in Minneapolis. The chaotic scene features a passenger screaming as a man attempts to capture the bird using his coat.
The incident onboard Delta Flight 2348 late Saturday delayed its arrival in Madison, Wis., for around an hour.
Tom Caw, a passenger on Delta Flight 2348 at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, recounted the incident on Instagram. According to Caw, a fellow passenger alerted a flight attendant about the unexpected avian stowaway. The pilot then addressed the passengers, confirming the presence of a pigeon and admitting his lack of experience in handling such a situation.
Amidst the commotion, baggage handlers were called in to safely remove the pigeon from the aircraft, much to the relief of the passengers who applauded the swift action. Surprisingly, a second pigeon made a surprise appearance as the plane taxied on the runway. Caw managed to capture the moment on video as the bird flew through the cabin, adding to the surreal experience.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Delta said it “appreciates the careful actions of our people and our customers to safely remove two birds from the aircraft prior to departure and we apologize to our customers for the delay in their travel.”
