There are multiple new shows airing tonight, with CBS presenting a lineup of their popular FBI franchise shows, including FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted. NBC will showcase new episodes of St. Denis Medical and Night Court, while ABC is set to air new installments of Will Trent and The Rookie.
Additionally, the penultimate episode of The Pitt’s first season is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, April 3, and the season finale of The White Lotus will air on HBO on Sunday, April 6.
One show that stands out is High Potential on ABC. The series, starring Kaitlin Olson, revolves around a single mom with remarkable intelligence who transitions into a police consultant. Although it has become a fan favorite, the show’s first season was limited to 13 episodes, leading it to go on hiatus indefinitely.
When does High Potential return for Season 2? When does the next new episode air on ABC? Here’s everything we know.
Nope. Will Trent and The Rookie are airing new episodes from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET, followed by Bad Romance: A Special Edition of 20/20.
No way. On January 21, ABC announced they renewed High Potential for a second season. Per Deadline, “The size of High Potential‘s Season 2 order is TBD but is expected to be larger than Season 1.”
No official release date has been announced, but Season 2 is set to begin filming in May. We expect High Potential Season 2 to debut in September 2025 on ABC.
All thirteen Season 1 episodes of High Potential are currently streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
The second season of High Potential is expected to premiere in the fall of 2025 on ABC.
