Praise Be! Another week, another fix of TV’s most heavenly family, The Righteous Gemstones.
Season 4 marks the final season featuring Jesse (Danny McBride), Judy (Edi Patterson), Kelvin (Adam DeVine), and Eli (John Goodman), which is a bittersweet reality. The show, however, concludes in a spectacular fashion.
Episode 2, titled “You Hurled Me Into The Very Heart Of The Seas,” unveiled Lori Milsap (Megan Mullally), the late Gemstone matriarch Aimee-Leigh’s best friend. Following this, Episode 3, named “To Grieve Like The Rest Of Men Who Have No Hope,” showcased the Gemstone offspring grappling with their father’s newfound romance. The upcoming episode is expected to seamlessly continue from where the previous one left off. It is evident that Jesse, Judy, and Kelvin adapt well to change, particularly in the circumstances surrounding their mother’s passing.
Moreover, Episode 4, “He Goeth Before You Into Galiliee,” presented one of the most outlandish breakup subplots in television history. Keefe (Tony Cavalero) caused a stir by donning Aimee Leigh’s attire and surprising Lori and Eli by climbing into bed with them. With such unpredictable and amusing twists, who can predict the mischief that will unfold in Episode 5.

Yes, there is a brand new episode of the Danny McBride comedy premiering tonight, April 6, on HBO and Max.
New episodes of The Righteous Gemstones, including Episode 5, air on HBO at 10 PM ET/ 7 PM PT and land on Max at the same time.
Few details have been released about the episode, however, the title comes from Deuteronomy 8:18 and teases more trouble between the Gemstone children and their father.
“But you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore (solemnly promised) to your fathers, as it is this day,” the passage reads.
In total, Season 4 of The Righteous Gemstones includes nine episodes. The finale will air on May 4 and all nine episodes will then be available to stream.
Aside from the core four Gemstone family members, the show also stars Tim Baltz, Amber Freeman, Tony Cavalero, Walton Goggins, Valyn Hall, Skyler Gisondo, and Jennifer Nettles. Additionally, Season 4 includes guest stars like Megan Mullally, Seann William Scott, and Arden Myrin. The first episode of the season also featured a special appearance from Bradley Cooper, who played the first Elijah Gemstone in a Civil War-era period episode.
