A female individual has alleged that a male behaved inappropriately towards her at the fitness center. However, after she posted a video of their exchange on the internet, it had an unexpected negative outcome.
Violet Starr, known for her presence on OnlyFans, shared a recording of her encounter with the unidentified man on TikTok recently, citing it as an illustration of why some women may feel uneasy when exercising. Surprisingly, some audience members did not support her perspective.
‘This is why I don’t go to public gyms anymore,’ Starr wrote in white text over the top of her video.
The video, lasting only 22 seconds, has already garnered over 108,000 views since its upload. Nevertheless, due to significant backlash, Starr eventually disabled the comments section.
The clip showed Starr walking into the gym before she was approached by an older-looking man who spoke with an accent to ask: ‘Excuse me, what are you, like, a teacher?’
Starr replied to tell him that she wasn’t a teacher, but he went on to explain why he thought she was an instructor in the first place.
‘Because you’re so fit, beautifully fit, and you work out so hard, I thought maybe you were a teacher or something,’ he said with a smile.
‘No, I’m not,’ Starr said again.
OnlyFans personality Violet Starr uploaded a clip of her interaction with the unnamed man to TikTok last week as an example of why some women feel uncomfortable while working out
‘This is why I don’t go to public gyms anymore,’ Starr wrote in white text over the top of her video
In the caption of the video, she wrote, ‘That awkward gym moment that made me want to skip… until you walked in.’
DailyMail.com reached out to Starr for comment.
Before turning off the comments, Starr wrote that ‘while the interaction on video was relatively tame, she thought to take out her phone and film following more direct harassment by the men,’ according to DailyDot.
According to a 2021 survey from RunRepeat, 56.37 percent of female gym members have experienced harassment while working out at the gym.
This number was 2.68 times more than the male gym members they surveyed.
However, Starr isn’t the only person who has filmed their uncomfortable experience in the gym in recent months.
In 2023, some women took to TikTok to film themselves working out in a bid to catch predatory men in the gym.

At the time, videos with the hashtag #GymCreep and #GymWeirdo – mostly uploaded by UK and US users – had amassed over 100 million views on the platform.
That year, US influencer Gina went viral when she shared a clip of a ‘creepy’ man who positioned near to where she was lifting weights.
She wrote: ‘Watch this creep come over to my personal bubble while doing [dead-lifts].’
As she continues lifting her weights, the clip shows the anonymous older man setting up right behind Gina.
Gina said: ‘The gym was practically empty and [there are] so many corners to be in and he chose this one.’
She continued: ‘I’ve been in this corner for 10 minutes before him and only had one set left.’
Determined not to let him interrupt her workout, Gina continued her squats in front of the mirror.
In the background, the man – who she accused of ogling her minutes before- is seen moving one weight from side-to-side close behind her.
Explaining why she had got her camera out, Gina added: ‘I started recording him so now we’re all uncomfortable together.
‘He was literally starring at my [bum] before this.’
What’s more, Gina said she felt so threatened by the man’s behavior that she didn’t feel safe returning.
She added: ‘I am never coming back to this gym.’ Urging other women to stay vigilant, Gina captioned the clip: ‘Be careful out there girlies because wtf??’
