Vanessa Feltz is transitioning from This Morning after an impressive 33 years to host her new daytime show, Vanessa, on Channel 5. At the age of 63, Vanessa has been a familiar face on the ITV show since 1992, but she is now eager to devote her attention to her own midday series, set to debut at 12:45 PM on March 24.
In her new role, Vanessa will dive into a range of topics, from celebrity gossip and life advice to relationships and parenting, among many others.

She told the Daily Star,
“I’ve been with This Morning since 1992. It’s been quite a journey. However, I’m now focusing on my own show, and I can’t juggle both.”
Upon announcing her decision to step away, Vanessa received overwhelming support from her colleagues. Alison Hammond and Holly Willoughby were quick to offer their encouragement, and the network executives displayed great understanding. Vanessa acknowledges that she will miss working with everyone at This Morning.
Reflecting on her time on This Morning, Feltz said,
Reflecting on her tenure at This Morning, Vanessa shared, “I’ve gained invaluable experience during my time there. When I initially joined, I had no prior TV experience. I was feeling completely overwhelmed, but they extended a contract offer to me.”
She also shared her love for the show and her colleagues on Instagram, saying,
“I love This Morning and all my friends there. Big hugs and kisses to everyone. Tune in for lunch weekdays on 5 @5_tv at 12:30 for some lively chats.”
Feltz first rose to fame with The Vanessa Show on ITV, which aired from 1994 to 1998. She then moved to the BBC, where she hosted Vanessa Feltz Breakfast on BBC London and an early morning show on BBC Radio 2.
After nearly 20 years with the BBC, she left in 2022 and started her own TV show, hosting it for two years. Although she stepped away from TalkTV, she continued to make appearances on This Morning. In November, she took over the Sunday slot on LBC, replacing former Countdown star Carol Vorderman.
