Cleveland Browns' Myles Garrett earns AP First-Team All-Pro honors

He recorded 14 sacks, ranking second in the NFL, and forced 3 fumbles, placing him among the league’s top defenders.

The Cleveland Browns’ offseason has kicked off with Myles Garrett garnering recognition for his outstanding performance in the 2024 season.

Recently, the Browns revealed that Garrett received his fourth First-Team All-Pro acknowledgment from the Associated Press. Over his eight-year NFL tenure, Garrett has also been selected twice for the Second Team All-Pro.

Garrett wrapped up the season with 47 total tackles, comprising 40 solo tackles and 7 assists. His impressive performance includes 14 sacks, securing him the second spot in the NFL rankings, and forcing 3 fumbles, thus solidifying his position among the league’s top defenders.

On Dec. 15, Garrett became the first player in history to record 100 career sacks while wearing a Cleveland uniform, as well as the youngest player in NFL history with 100 sacks.

Earlier this week, Garrett was named to the 2024-25 NFLPA Players’ All-Pro Team for the third consecutive year.

This was the third year for the AP’s new voting system. Voters chose a first team and a second team. First-team votes are worth 3 points, second-team votes are worth 1.
