
Susanna Reid is not on Good Morning Britain today because of ill health leaving viewers concerned.
The presenter, 52, took to social media to tell fans she would not be back on the Monday edition of GMB. On X, formerly Twitter, she wrote: “Sorry not to be back @gmb with you all in the morning. Vocal cords are still affected.
“Recovering with specialist treatment and brilliant tips from viewers. See you very soon! Sx.”

Ranvir Singh and Ed Balls took on the GMB presenting duties in Susanna’s absence. Additionally, Susanna posted a video on Instagram: “Quick update on my voice, which as you can hear is not 100 per cent. I feel absolutely fine but the specialists that I saw on Friday said not to risk it until it is better. Thank you to everyone at GMB for stepping in and all of you for your brilliant tips.
“I have been steaming and also, doing honey and lemon and ginger and turmeric tea and drinking tons and tons of water. I will see you soon.”
Last Wednesday, Susanna was scheduled to appear in the GMB studio but was forced to pull out at the last minute. Charlotte Hawkins stepped in to host alongside Ed Balls as Susanna appeared video link from her dressing room to explain her absence.
