Wife Wakes up in the Morning Sees Another Woman Sleeping with Her Husband in Their Son’s Bed

It was a regular day for a mother-of-one when she woke up one night and caught her husband sleeping with another woman in their son’s bed. Upon confrontation, the woman learns things that make her realize she should have listened to her gut feeling.

A 35-year-old woman opened up on Reddit about an incident she wanted to forget. Before revealing what had happened, the woman shared that she tied the knot with her husband five years after dating him.

The couple had been married for 11 years when the woman caught him cheating. She revealed that things weren’t the best during the two years before the incident, but she never thought the man could break her trust.

The woman with the username “Hathnofuryca,” posted in the “relationships” forum on Reddit to ask other people for advice. After revealing the details of the incident, she asked others what her next step should be.

The woman was the sole breadwinner of her family because her husband couldn’t work due to his health condition. He dropped their son to school and looked after him while the woman was at work.

Everything was going as planned until the man told her about one of his high school friends he talked to on Facebook. He said she was diagnosed with a terminal illness.

A few days later, he wanted to visit her with a friend, but the woman didn’t want him to go because it was a Sunday night, and he had to drop their son at school the following day.

However, she allowed him to go because she felt terrible for the other girl, and the man promised he would drop their son at school no matter what. After visiting his friend, the man took an Uber back home and reached home at 4 a.m.

Nothing seemed fishy to the woman until she saw a $36 charge on her card from Uber. The details showed that the ride started from a spot near their place and ended at a destination located an hour away. “He swears he had no idea what happened,” the woman recalled what her husband said when she asked him about it.

The woman ignored what happened and focused on her routine. The couple was soon moving out of state, so the woman had a lot to look forward to. At that point, she noticed her husband was spending too much time talking to the same friend on his phone.

“I’m worried what that will do to him when we move. If she gets worse,” the woman recounted. Soon, her husband told her that his friend was looking for temporary accommodation and asked her if she could live with them.

At first, the woman refused but soon gave in. She welcomed the woman into her house and had a soft corner for her because of her health condition. However, the next night, she woke up to something unexpected.

When the woman left her bedroom, she saw an empty mattress in the living room and couldn’t find her husband there. Feeling curious, she entered her son’s bedroom and saw her husband sleeping with the other woman on the bed.

Shocked, the woman woke her husband up. When she asked him why he was sleeping with his friend, he said she was feeling scared after watching a horror movie. “I didn’t believe him. I told him she needed to leave,” the Redditor recalled.

After seeing her husband in bed with his friend, the woman felt they had an “inappropriate relationship,” but the man denied it. However, when the woman confronted him later that night, he admitted he had kissed her. Feeling betrayed, the woman asked him to give her his phone because she wanted to read his messages. She recounted:

“Well, text messages were relatively clean. Not so with Facebook.”

Upon reading their conversation on Facebook, the woman learned that her husband had lied to her. He sneaked the other woman into their house while his wife and son were asleep, which marked their first secret meeting among many others.

The Redditor revealed that her husband invited the other woman when their son was at school or sometimes when their son was watching cartoons. He also invited her when the Redditor and her son were sleeping.

“I can’t believe the nerve, the betrayal. He thought he could get away with it,” the woman wrote in her Reddit post. Thinking about her husband’s infidelity made her feel sick to the core. As a result, she discarded the bedding used by the other woman. She said:

“My instincts all told me, but I didn’t listen. Now I’m paying the price.”

Meanwhile, her husband justified his act, saying he did it because he wanted affection, but she didn’t believe what he said. Instead, their relationship went downhill to the extent that the woman thought about leaving him.

What worried her was her son’s reaction to not having his father around and their lease agreement for the new house. She revealed she couldn’t afford the home without her husband.

At the end of her post, she asked other Redditors for advice on her relationship. Many people shared their opinions in the comments section, and some told the woman to leave her husband.

“Why would you even consider staying longer with him?” One Redditor asked. “He clearly has no respect for you or his son. Seriously, just kick him out or leave yourself with your son.”

Another Reddit user said, “I think you need to reach out to family and friends for support and figure something else out. I don’t know how you’d be able to trust him again. I wouldn’t even trust him with your son anymore.”
