A New Jersey woman was arrested last week and charged in a murder for hir plot to kill her cop ex-boyfriend and his daughter.
According to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, law enforcement was informed by a confidential informant on April 3 that Jaclyn Diiorio, aged 26, had expressed a desire to have her ex-boyfriend, a 53-year-old Philadelphia Police officer, and his 19-year-old daughter killed.
“She offered to pay the informant approximately $12,000 to kill both victims,” the prosecutor’s office said.
Following this report, the informant arranged to meet Diiorio the next day, where she gave him $500 as a down payment. Subsequently, Gloucester Township Police took her into custody after discovering she was in possession of a bottle of alprazolam pills.
She was charged with two counts of attempted murder, one count of conspiracy to commit murder, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
As per a probable cause affidavit, the informant was an individual Diiorio had encountered on the Tinder dating app. Their interactions on the app began on March 31, leading to multiple phone calls and messages exchanged between them. Diiorio, who went by the name “D” on the app, eventually disclosed her intentions to have her ex killed.
