On Tuesday, volunteers will search for a man who vanished in South Carolina in early October.
According to WIS-TV, relatives and the search group We Are The Essentials will conduct a search for Zelig Williams, 28, along the Palmetto Trail. Williams, last seen on October 3, was reported missing by his family. The trail is located approximately 30 miles away from Williams’ residence in Richland County.

Williams’ car was discovered on the trail a day after his disappearance. His belongings were reportedly located inside the vehicle.
On the day of his disappearance, Williams’ family received an SOS signal from his phone, originating from a friend in New York. The distress signal indicated a possible car crash, but investigators found no signs of an accident involving Williams’ vehicle.
Williams had recently returned home following a stint on Broadway and was scheduled to lead a dance class the month he vanished. It remains uncertain whether authorities suspect foul play in his sudden disappearance.
Williams was reportedly last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, and brown slides. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the Richland County Sheriff’s Department at 803-576-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CrimeSC.
