Roads are shut and hundreds of homes are without power as Storm Jocelyn continues to batter Yorkshire on Wednesday.
Strong winds are still causing major problems in the region with a yellow Met Office weather warning in place until 3pm today. The adverse weather comes just hours after Storm Isha battered Yorkshire.
The M1 is this morning closed to high sided vehicles at Junction 34 for Tinsley Viaduct (Meadowhall) with the A628 Woodhead Pass also shut to high sided vehicles at Langsett, South Yorkshire, from the A616 to the A57 Woolley Lane.

North Yorkshire’s Braithwaite Lane is shut due to a fallen tree blocking the road. This comes as hundreds of households across Yorkshire are waking up without power this morning.
According to Northern Powergrid’s latest power cut map, 112 homes have no power near Selby with 80 homes near Arksey, Doncaster, also without electricity. We will bring you the latest updates and information on the storm in Yorkshire in our dedicated live blog below.
