No time to waste! Some Hollywood stars just can’t wait to walk down the aisle — including Kaley Cuoco, Ariana Grande and Meghan King.
“From day one I just knew immediately, and it’s been magic,” the Big Bang Theory alum told Entertainment Tonight in September 2013 of her whirlwind romance which resulted in an engagement to Ryan Sweeting after six months of dating. “We have all the same family friends. We grew up with the same people, we just never met. So I kind of feel that I’ve known him my whole life.”
Cuoco admitted that it “seems a little crazy on paper, but it’s what works for us.” The Flight Attendant star and the tennis player married on New Year’s Eve in 2013 but went their separate ways less than two years later with Us confirming their breakup in September 2015.
Grande, for her part, has had two relationships that resulted in quick engagements. Multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly in June 2018 that Pete Davidson proposed to the “Dangerous Woman” singer after dating for a few weeks. The duo never married, splitting in October 2018.
The Voice coach previously defended both her whirlwind engagement to the comedian and her pal Justin Bieber’s quick proposal to Hailey Baldwin on social media. Grande clapped back at a troll in July 2018 who criticized her and Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, for working “harder” than the devil to get his two clients hitched.
“You do realize we are human beings who love and have lives …… right …. ?” Grande replied via Instagram, shortly after news broke that the “Baby” crooner and the model were getting ready to walk down the aisle less than one month after rekindling their romance. “And that scooter is a wonderful human being too who cares first n foremost ab [sic] our health and happiness ?”
The “No Tears Left to Cry” songstress concluded: “Love is lit. s—t happens. I hope to god it happens to you too. U deserve it.”
Bieber, for his part, went on to marry Baldwin twice — at a New York City courthouse in September 2018 and one year later in South Carolina with friends and family by their side.
The “7 Rings” singer moved on with Dalton Gomez, with a source confirming in March 2020 that they were dating after being linked one month prior. Us confirmed nine months later that they were engaged.
