The two-part series “Biography: Bobby Brown” holds nothing back as it dives deep into the Grammy-award-winning R&B artist’s rise to the top.
But, this docuseries goes beyond his music career, covering the many traumas and his infamous relationship with the late Whitney Houston.

Houston won’t be the only big name involved in this project. His fellow “New Edition” members and other famous individuals, such as Usher and Jermaine Dupri, add to the grand narrative that is Brown’s life. Speaking about the documentary, the singer stated:
“It was very therapeutic for me to dig deep into my guts; going back to the traumas of my childhood. That’s the most of why we decided to do this now.”
Brown, who has spoken about how actual therapy has helped him, has faced tumultuous times. He lays it all out for the world to see — Brown opens about facing sexual abuse as a child, grappling with substance abuse, and losing two of his children, Bobbi Kristina Brown and Bobby Brown Jr.

EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT BOBBY BROWN’S SEVEN KIDS
One area of Brown’s personal life that many hope to learn more about in the documentary is the seven children he had with four different women and the grief he faced when two of these kids passed.
His oldest child is Landon Brown, born in the mid-1980s to his mother, Melika Williams. Involved in more than one area in the entertainment industry, Landon has forged a career in music.

Kim Ward, who had a complicated relationship with Brown, gave birth to their now 33-three-year-old daughter La’Princia Brown. She and Eddie Ray married in 2021. But, there is little information on her as she shies away from the public’s eye.
Three of his children, 5-year-old Hendrix Estelle Sheba Brown, 6-year-old Bodhi Jameson Rein Brown, and 12-year-old Cassius Brown, belong to him and his current wife, Alicia Etheredge.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, born in 1993, was the only child he had with his former and late wife Houston after she suffered several miscarriages. Tragically, three years after Houston’s death, she passed away. Bobbi ultimately died from drug abuse.
Bobby Brown Jr. was the second child of the “My Prerogative” singer and Ward. Sadly, he also passed away after an unintended overdose. The musician was born in 1991 and died in November 2021 at 28 years old.

BOBBY BROWN’S BATTLE WITH GRIEF
Speaking about the passing of his two kids, he expressed that no father should have to go through this. He opened up about how he sees them when he is asleep:
“I always see them at beaches or in fields. They’re running away, but they’re laughing. And they’re always together.
He explained that he didn’t have many dreams about his late daughter before his late son died, but after he passed, they are continuous. While the pain of losing them is still there, Brown said, his other five kids help him move forward.

MEET BOBBY BROWN’S WIFE OF TEN YEARS
Etheredge is multitalented, working as a producer and an entertainment manager. She is also a former video model. She and Brown met in 1989.
Their relationship was utterly platonic to the point where Etheredge helped him walk down the aisle with Houston when he had the wedding jitters.
After his divorce from the iconic “I Will Always Love You” vocalist in 2007, Etheredge and Brown eventually got together and married in 2012. His wife said about their relationship: “I am the yin to his yang.”
