Floyd Mayweather couldn’t hold back the tears during the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, where he expressed his gratitude towards his father for introducing him to boxing.

After winning every belt throughout his career, the former boxer made the Hall of Fame along with legends Wladimir Klitschko and Andre Ward.

“I said that I wouldn’t cry,” Mayweather noted.

“This is unbelievable. This is one of the best days of my life.

“I love my dad because without him this wouldn’t be possible for me.”

Mayweather hung up his gloves in 2017 after beating Conor McGregor to register an impressive 50-0 record, with his victories over legends Manny Pacquiao, Oscar De La Hoya and Canelo Alvarez being the ones to stand out.

Following his retirement, Mayweather has participated in some exhibition fights such as the bouts against Don Moore, famous YouTuber Logan Paul and Tenshin Nasukawa.

His next exhibition fight will reportedly take place in Japan.
