Nate Diaz ducking Jake Paul’s $10 million MMA offer or is it beneath him?

Former UFC fighter Nate Diaz took to X (Twitter) Thursday night to all but kill the possible mixed martial arts (MMA) fight against Jake Paul, who claims the Stockton native is “ducking” his $10 million offe to step inside the octagon against him.

Diaz, 38, is coming off a boxing loss to Paul via unanimous decision and the YouTuber-turned-boxer now wants to try his fortune in MMA.

Sean Strickland “knocks out” a fan on stage before his fight against Israel AdesanyaR.O.

“I just dog-walked him in the boxing ring, made it look easy,” Paul said in a video. “And if I beat him in MMA, I take his legendary status. So, I don’t know if he was like, maybe the risk of this isn’t good enough for the $10 million.”

Diaz responded by standing firm with his stance that their bout would have been a win for him had it been a street fight. At one point, the former UFC fighter could have choked out Paul.

“You lost in boxing match anyway, p—y,” Diaz tweeted. “Fight yourself lame a–.”

Nate Diaz has more prolific options

Diaz, who started his own promotion, has yet to rule out a return to the UFC, especially if that means a trilogy fight against Conor McGregor.

When it comes to fighting Paul in the octagon, the risk is a lot bigger than the reward, just as “The Problem Child” stated.

If Diaz wins, fans will say it’s because Paul isn’t an MMA fighter, but if he loses, his legacy could become tarnished.

For now, Diaz has essentially halted any progress towards meeting Paul inside the octagon, and it looks like only a lot more money could convince him to take the fight.
