Antonio Brown has seemingly given up all hope of returning to the NFL this year after walking out on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the middle of a game last season.

Since that viral moment, Brown is now a self-declared rapper and businessman who is often seen hanging out with Floyd Mayweather. AB even rapped his way into the ring in Mayweather’s exhibition fight in Abu Dhabi one week ago.

In April, Mayweather attempted to get Brown back in the NFL by offering $20 million to any team that would take a chance on the 33-year-old walking controversy. AB has now confirmed he will not be playing in the league next season.

Antonio Brown won’t return to NFL

Brown made an appearance at a Fan Controlled Football event on Saturday and got interviewed by Charly Arnolt. She asked him several things about his newfound career in business and music, but near the end, Arnolt questioned Brown on his future in football.

“We gonna see you playing next season,” Arnolt asked AB.

“Nah,” Brown said. “Don’t play yourself looking to me to play.”

Before Arnolt asked that question, Brown told her he was one of the greatest players ever but that he can’t play forever. He also said his abs are more famous than his chest or himself.
