Strictly Come Dancing’s Graziano Di Prima pulled no punches on Tuesday night as he told his celebrity dance partner ‘your enemy is here’ after she fell into the dance-off for the second time.

Love Island star Zara ended up in the bottom two again on Tuesday based on the public vote and had to be saved by the judges for the second time.

She and her pro partner Graziano narrowly beat Eddie Kadi and Karen Hauer in the dance-off, and now Zara has admitted it’s a ‘wake up call’.

Zara told Strictly It Takes Two host Fleur East on Tuesday: “Dance offs don’t get any easier the more you do but it’s one of those things where I just thought, what have I got to lose at this point?

“Realistically I think that’s what let me down on Saturday night because nerves just got the better of me.

“I really am doing everything I can to work on that this week. We are doing that together. We’re working on those nerves together. Because you can’t take away from the fact that this is, it can be scary at times, it’s really daunting. No matter how many times you rehearse, going out there and hearing ‘performing the…’

“That’s the moment. It’s scary.”

Fleur then said: “You told Shirley this time last year you were sat on your sofa watching Strictly. Have you had a wake up call now?”

She replied: “Yes, definitely. I think the art of a good lift is making it look easy right.”

Graziano Di Prima then turned to her and gave her a no-holds barred assessment of her struggles in the competition.

Graziano said: “I have to be honest. For the second time you have proved me, your enemy is here (he said, pointing to his forehead).

“So you know you’ve got chance to prove to everyone that you can do it.”

Zara replied: “I’m just so grateful to this man right here, literally my absolute rock. In those moments that could be so low and so tough he’s just there giving me all the energy and all the positivity.

“I’m just so grateful to still be here.”

The pair will dance a Charleston to Jeepers Creepers for Halloween week.

Zara added: “I think this is the perfect week for a Charleston. The stars have aligned for me because this is a dance of fun, cheekiness confidence and also most of the routine is by myself. I am just gonna go out and do it and be confident on my own. This is like a real step out of my comfort zone.”
