I’m A Celebrity fans have spotted a problem with the ITV show’s grand finale involving runner up Tony Bellew.
The 2023 series came to a dramatic conclusion in its final episode in Australian jungle down under as Nigel Farage finished third, pitting Sam Thompson and Tony Bellew in a straight head-to-head to be crowned King of the jungle.
It was Sam Thompson who ultimately came out on top, and he took the Crown as he won the majority of the votes from the British public.

But despite being happy for the winner, many viewers pointed out a problem with the final episode’s format and complained that it’s unfair to Tony Bellew, the runner up.

One thing he didn’t get to enjoy was the ‘walk over the bridge’ accompanied by fireworks. Literally every other eliminated celeb gets this ritual, even winner Sam Thompson – but Tony Bellew didn’t get anything.
It’s a complaint that has dogged the show for years, including last year when Jill Scott won the series, but ITV still hasn’t fixed the issue or changed the format.

So that’s it for what has been another memorable series – from the controversial and loud Nella Rose to the Nigel Farage ‘boycott’ backlash to here, with undeniable series favourite Sam Thompson winning out.
