THIS is the incredible moment two cops rescue a trapped driver from his car stuck on train tracks – moments before it is obliterated.
New Jersey cops Devin Hinchcliffe and John Ward pulled the heroic stunt after the “impaired” driver was left in a life-or-death situation.

The dramatic footage was captured on Monday just after midnight, according to Piscataway Township Police Department.
It shows the two cops rushing towards the car which is stationary on the tracks.
As the two gates on either side of the car start to close down, the trio face the prospect of being struck by an oncoming train.
In a rush, they manage to pull the driver out of the front seat.
The man is seemingly unable to move his body, as the two cops take his arms and feet before scurring away to safety.
Just seconds later, an approaching train ploughs right through the now empty car.
The police department released the extraordinary footage of the two brave officers.
The officers acted swiftly to remove the driver from the vehicle just moments before a train collided with it, acknowledging the immediate threat the train posed.
“Their quick action prevented a potential tragedy.”
The force added: “We commend Officer Hinchcliffe and Officer Ward for their prompt and effective response.”
It is not yet known if the unnamed driver, will face charges, according to WPVI.
It comes after a freight train dramatically smashed into a truck in Germany.
The terrifying crash from December happened at a level-crossing in the east of the country.
The driver had mere seconds to escape before his vehicle was destroyed at the train crossing.
In a separate incident in September, a video captured the intense moment when a freight train collided with a large truck transporting a military tank right after the driver managed to escape.
The horror smash occurred at a railroad crossing in Goose Creek, in South Carolina, US.
Debris could be seen flying into the air as the train collided with the 18-wheeled tractor-trailer as it tried to cross the tracks.
