The search for a missing man in Doncaster has ended in tragedy.
South Yorkshire Police took to social media to confirm the sad news following an appeal launched to find a missing man from the town called Liam. Officers say they “believe the body is that of Liam” and they are currently supporting his family.
The appeal was launched on Tuesday, November 28, and police searching for the missing Doncaster man have sadly found a body this morning (Wednesday).

South Yorkshire Police posted on Facebook this afternoon: “Officers searching for missing Doncaster man Liam have sadly found a body this morning (Wednesday, November 29).
“While formal identification is yet to take place, officers do believe it to be that of Liam. His family has been informed and continue to be supported by officers at this time. Thank you for sharing our appeal.”
