A crash has shut part of the M1 with traffic queueing for six miles.
It happened on the M1 northbound at Junction 31. Traffic is back up to junction 30 with queuing time estimated to be around 25 minutes.
Traffic cameras show heavy queues building up along the M1 northbound. Originally all four lanes of the major motorway were shut but now only lanes three and four remain closed.

The traffic management system, Inrix, says: “Two lanes closed and queueing traffic for six miles due to accident on M1 Northbound at J31 A57 Worksop Road (Sheffield / Worksop). Congestion to J30 (Worksop / Sheffield South). Travel time is around 25 minutes.
“Lanes three and four (of four) are closed.”
