Strictly Come Dancing’s Carlos Gu didn’t mince his words tonight after claiming he and his celebrity partner Angela Scanlon were ‘robbed’ after they were sent home on Sunday.
Irish presenter Angela Scanlon and her pro partner Carlos Gu were bottom of the leaderboard for week 10 and fell into the dance-off against Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin on Sunday, where three out of four of the judges chose to save Layton, sending Angela and Carlos packing.
And today the emotions got the better of the pair as they spoke to Strictly It Takes Two host Fleur East about the injustice of the decision to lose to a dancer with professional dance training in Layton.

Asked how she felt about the ‘journey’, Angela said: “I have said it from the beginning, as a partner. To have someone who’s so deeply passionate as Carlos. He just cares deeply about the person he’s partnered with so I feel incredibly lucky to know him.
“I’ve always felt those ups and downs are better.
“The paso on Halloween week which was a bit of a comeback moment, and then Argentine Tango in Blackpool was I think for me, which is why it stings so much. It feels like a real…”

But then she couldn’t continue due to the emotion as she welled up with tears and warned Carlos ‘don’t tip me over the edge!’.
Carlos then turned to Angela and said: “I’m so lucky to meet this woman, we are not only physically connected, but with this woman I feel like we are soulmates and our soul was bonded together this deeply. I feel so sad. I’m never this sad. I’m laughing all the time, but I really feel the journey’s ended. I just feel robbed, you know.
“But we have had the greatest time in my life, every single second in training was full of joy and laughs and we know each other so well with our words.”
Fleur East then told them: “You know what, we can tell, because we have watched you over the last few weeks form this beautiful bond.”
