It was a night which split ITV viewers down the middle as The Royal Variety Performance returned with some heavy hitters like McFly, Hannah Waddingham and Beverley Knight on Sunday all hosted by Bradley Walsh.
But not everyone was thrilled about every aspect of tonight’s entertainment, with several viewers deciding they’d had enough shortly after Hannah Waddingham’s amazing rendition of Silent Night.
It wasn’t Hannah that was turning them off though, but comedian Rosie Jones who had some ITV1 and ITVX viewers quitting the show in the middle.

Comedy is certainly subjective because Bradley Walsh himself was blasted for his ‘awkward’ and ‘unfunny’ routine as much as Rosie.
Firstly Hannah Waddingham, clad in a glittering gold dress, took to the stage and belted out a stunning rendition of the Christmas classic which had most viewers applauding the Ted Lasso and Eurovision star.

But moments later it was followed up by successful comedy writer and comedian Rosie Jones, who was not everybody’s cup of tea and a lot of people thought she just isn’t very funny
