A number of Yorkshire roads have been shut due to flooding following heavy rainfall this week.

Heavy rain and strong winds have battered Yorkshire this week as Storm Isha followed by Storm Jocelyn hit the UK. Severe weather warnings have been in place across the region, as well as flood warnings and alerts, urging people to take care amid protentional treacherous conditions.

Roads including the A6108 Masham Bridge has been shut in both directions due to flooding and Cawood Road Southbound is also reportedly impassable due to flooding from The A64 ( York ) to Escrick Road (Stillingfleet).
